The Paw Paw Wine & Harvest Festival will resume this year, September 6-8, 2024, with lots of fun and events for the whole family. This is your source for all the information you may need about our festival, including the parade brochure and registration form, a history of the festival, information about volunteering or becoming a vendor for the festival, lists of places to stay, and the policies of the festival. About

The festival offers something for everyone including tastings and tours for wine enthusiasts; a 5k, Grape Stomping Competition, Grape Lake Kayak Race, and other contests for the active members of your family; four stages of entertainment for music-lovers; and carnival rides, fireworks, and the parade for all ages. This is one weekend you won’t want to miss.

History

For over 100 years, Paw Paw has celebrated the growing of grapes and the making of wines and juices, the weekend after Labor Day.  For three days each September, the town comes alive with events, tastings, music and more.

Visitors can take part in Grape Stomping, a 5K Run/Walk, Parade, Arts & Crafts, Car Show, 5 entertainment stages, Kayak Race, Bike Tour, and more.  Events for the young and old, for those who like physical activities and those who just want to set back and enjoy.

Brochure

Check out the parade brochure to apply for your organization to participate in the event! Anyone interested in representing their organization during the Paw Paw Wine and Harvest Festival can fill out the brochure for submission. Simply provide us with:

  • Basic information about your organization
  • What kind of parade entry you plan on utilizing
  • What you would like announced about your organization
  • Confirmation whether or not you would like to be part of the judging contest

Once you have filled out all this information, we ask that the brochure be returned before the provided deadline to the address listed on the brochure. Once this has been completed, we will be in contact with you to confirm before the event!

Schedule

Because there are many events that run throughout the day each day of the festival, a full schedule of the festival may be found here. The schedule will be followed as closely as possible during the festival, so if there is an event that you are interested in joining, make sure you plan your day to make it on time! Where to Stay

If you are from out of town and want somewhere to stay throughout the entire festival, there are different options available for you. Local hotels and inns are a great, affordable option to all who are visiting to consider. Registrations

Some of the events at the Paw Paw Wine and Harvest Festival require a registration to participate. We want all who are interested in participating to get their opportunity, so make sure that you sign up for each that you plan on being a part of each year. Make sure to read the description of each event featured at the festival before signing up, as some require a team to participate. Registration forms may be found here:

Once your registration has been submitted, a member of the festival’s planning team will get in touch to let you know you have been accepted as an applicant. We look forward to seeing you participate!

Policies

We spend all year planning an event that has something for everyone to enjoy.  Unfortunately, there are circumstances that require us to cancel events for the safety of everyone, which may be done at the last minute.

We do allow dogs at events, they must be on a leash and with the owner at all times.  Children are allowed in the Festival Tent as long as they are with an adult and remained seated.

We cannot allow demonstrations or events that might be offensive or harm festival attendees.

Vendors who are not registered with the festival will be asked to leave.
